A romp through the woods.

Before I broke my leg, my humans took me for a hike in the woods, only I didn't hike, I ran around like a madd dog. I was so excited to be in the woods with all the leaves, and trees. I love to roll around in and eat leaves. I would excitedly run ahead of them and then run back. We hiked along a stream and I really enjoyed running through the water and drinking it. There was so much to see and smell. It seemed liked we walked for ever and I should have listened to my humans and taken it easy. The next day all I did was sleep. Try as they might my humans couldn't really get a photo of me because I was so excited that I wouldn't stop running. I think my female got one shot here it is.

I can't wait to go to the woods again!

Welcome to my page

Hello every one, my name is Trilliann and I'm a pekingese - poodle - dachshund mix. I was born in Texas but moved to Connecticut when I was two months old. I miss my friends and family, but I am making new friends like Cami, my English Bulldog neighbor and El Nino, my boyfriend who comes to wrassle with me at my owners office. My male human thinks he's a dog and female human thinks I'm a baby. I just humor them.

Not to long ago on May 10th something unfortunate happened to me, my female human didn't put me in my crate and took me for a ride in a jeep with no doors, she kept saying something about a beach. I was on a leash but it broke and I fell out. I broke the head of my feamer bone on my rear right leg. It really hurt! Right away my humans took me too the Animal Hospital. They were very nice there. I had to stay for a couple days and have surgery. The Doctor cut the top of my femaur bone off. A new false joint of cartligae will form. I think it is already hapenning because I can stand on my hinde legs now. I can almost get food from the coffee table and yesterday I climbed up on the couch via a pillow on the floor. I never really stopped running, although I hippitey hopped a bit. My humans are very surprized that I am almost back to normal and it has only been two and a half weeks since my accident.

Today I climbed down the basement stairs with out being prompted, that is something I've never done before, but I am afarid to go up alone. It has been a really great weekend. I played in my pool and rolled around in the freshly tilled garden soil, my humans didn't like that. I even chased birds, I love chasing birds. Its raining out side so I think we will be spending most of the day indoors.

A New Home and Family

I was born on February 8, 2007 in Texas. The day before Easter I was driven from Houston to San Antonio and on a chilly rainy day. Outside a Starbucks was where I was first introduced to my humans, a male and a female. They took me and put me in a different car and then drove me to Alice, Texas. It was fun, there were many dogs for me to play with, small mean dogs, and big calm dogs. After a few days we got in the car and drove back to San Antonio. In San Antonio we got on an airplane, I slept a lot. We landed in Chicago and my female human took me out to a big green grassy area to run. Then we went back in and got on another airplane. We landed in Providence, Rhode Island, they let me play on some grass again and then we got in a different car and drove some more to my new home in Connecticut. I have a good size yard, and all the food and water I can eat.
